Trail Clearing

TRAIL CLEARING IS ONGOING

The trail clearing our group has been doing on the 802 trail this season has been a huge undertaking, but they have made amazing progress. After the winter wind storms, the area looks like a sceen out of a post-apocalyptic movie, and the group can use all the help they can get with the clearing. 

Trail clearing is occurring every Wednesday, leaving PROMPTLY at 9am.

Everyone is welcome to join in, bring gloves, water and a lunch.

Directions to Windy Ridge:

Starting at Fernan saddle (Fernan Saddle is at the top of the hill, approx. 11 miles from the ranger station) veer left, continue on 612 for 2.3 miles and at the junction of 406 and 612 on the left is where we park. If you get to the end of the pavement, you have gone too far.
